I cherish their nap time. It's my only real free time. Your kids still nap? My older two (9 and 6) don't. In fact when the older one stopped napping so did the younger, even though he is 2-1/2 years younger. The littlest one is still sleeping 18 hours a day.

My only free time is when my 11month old son is sleeping as well. It has been almost a year since I have had a restful nights sleep.

Another Sunday morning behind the tech support keyboard. Sundays are slooooooowww. I was at a wedding last night. Got home late, so I'm short a few hours of sleep. Even with the Starbuck's, It will be a tough day. Post something.

I feel bad for you, especially since I just got up now. There's nothing lonelier than getting ready to work in the darkness of a Sunday morning at 4:00 am. I mentioned to Mark on Friday night about a game with you, and he said he hadn't heard from you in a long time. I'd like to get back into the World of Gregghawk. If only there was a certain night that worked for all of us...

Wednesday and Friday nights work for me. Wednesday nights usually aren'y good for a group. It's hard to get people to give up their Friday nights, especially since Eric is already running every other Friday. Soccer season ended yesterday. I was considering the possibility of trying a Saturday afternoon game. I've been rebuilding my liquer supply. I have bottles of Tanqueray, Maker's Mark, and the Glenlivet sitting on the shelf. I had a few Macanudos, but there's only one left.

My liqueur supply never seems to accumulate. A bottle of Courvosier anywhere near me is very soon a dead French soldier in the recycling bin. I've been travelling to Lexington, Kentucky a lot recently for work, and trying different bourbons (love Maker's Mark). The good thing is that there are always more cigars and liqueur to buy.
I'd be up for a Wednesday night or Saturday afternoon game. I think at our next game we should go all out with the steak, grilled asparagus and liqueur and a good smoke afterward -- in memory of EGG.

I'm not too fond of Courvosier, but I have a bottle of St-Rémy Napoleon Brandy.

I usually save the brandy for cooler weather. I can't imagine it would be as enjoyable sipping it on a 90+ degree day with typical Pittsburgh 90% humidity. That's gin and tonic time.

I agree, brandy and Cognac go best with winter evenings. But I'll drink bourbon or Scotch on the rocks any time of the year. I like cold, dark beer in the summer -- I'm finishing off a case of Yuengling Porter now. Nothing would be more appropriate than to toast Gary's memory with some Bombay Sapphire and tonic before dying ignobly on some kobold's spear or being torn apart by a ghoul...

I still have the recipes for Zagyg's Summer Cooler and Zagig's Summer Cooler that Gary posted.

We've been blessed that our two girls (older 6 years, younger 9 months) have both been excellent sleepers, and have slept through the night from quite early on ~ one can forgive a whole lot with a good nights sleep! I don't know american beers, but I can drink most beers over here, lager to a lesser extent as it's too gassy for me. And in this land, the Home of Whisky, my favourite tipple is actually.....Jack Daniels.

Well, my friend, we have great whiskeys but you folks and the Germans have the best ales and beers! ^__^

No arguments here! I spent a weekend in Munich in February with some of my friends ~ a grand tour of the brewhouses might be the best description of our time there. Darned good beer, though.

I think you have to include Czech in any good beer list. When I was staying in Germany, the consensus among my German friends was that the Czechs made the best beer.

Oooh, yes, Czech beer is good. Budvar was a favourite of mine some years back.

Budvar is what Budweiser is the bastardized version of... speaking of which; anybody see the news of the attempted buy-out of Anheiser-Busch? From a sheerly patriotic position, I'm not sure how I feel about that...
