As an aside, someone I know who has met a billion celebs said that Wilder was the only one they were in awe of because he's really that guy you see on the screen and its not an act.

I too think "Gygax" or "Gygaxian" is probably a better term than "Greyhawk."
I think Gene Wilder is one of my favorite comedic actors. It's not his fault that so much of the material he's worked with is lame.

What about "Lakofkian" for Dragon articles in the zone but not official? As opposed to what? "Mooronic"? "Greenplywoodsian"? "Zeb and Throw"?

There's a GH discussion on Acaeum, which grodog has linked to from Canonfire! ~ I hope he'll forgive me for posting the link here. I'm not sure how much (if any) of this is news to you guys, but it was to me, so I thought I'd offer it up! www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7105

I couldn't follow it what are they referring to? A museum?
In regards to some of the topics they're mentioning while I would consider SAGARD superior to Sargent/Moore and their 3e cronies' shit (since SAGRD may have originally been Gary's concepts), it is still diarrhea processed and smeared by Lorraine Williams' brother. So technically its yet another warped version of Greyhawk not worthy of fan's consideration.
That coloring book was written by coloring book people. At least thats what Gary told me.

Gary told me that for the Coloring Album, he was given a stack of the Greg Irons illustrations and then wrote the story to tie them together. He also created the game inside of of the Coloring Album (uber-basic D&D). To this day, I still really like the story and illustrations in this album -- it has a lot of nostalgic value to me.

Considering the Trowbane "duality" in comparison, it might have been his "level of fond attachment" at the particular times of response. For me his dismissal of that was over the phone so I can't retrieve what he said specifically. However the tone was one of detachment in that regard. He said the same of most D&D non-game merchandise as well (toys, etc.).
