I like it that "Logo" the lizard man likes to cook with his halberd! Good drawing. And they are eating "lizard folk" from other editions! Well, lizard men are cannibals, after all...

I was also referring to the lizard man not being included as a random monster on dungeon levels until FIEND FOLIO but that is an obscure and arcane thing that I just threw in there.

Gene, you really can capture the feel of something when you're so inclined.

Still working in the salt mines over this first adventure. Its like little bit day by day. Anything new concept wise or hammered out is going toward future material at this point so its about 89% and one good push can finish this fucker.

Very creative, Gene. Your monsters often have some kind of striking or colorful imagery. And the Ethereal intersecting the Plane of Fire is a combination I don't think I've seen before.

So much energy has gone into this adventure that I'm doing that takes place in my campaign world. I don't want to describe any of it yet. It needs to be done so that I can move on to the next in the series which is no longer stale because I've been focusing on the campaign aspects indirectly. The cover that I started the beginning of last year and then I went back to it in the Summer then I freaked out because I want it to convey the final product's complete feeling.
I want to keep doing the blog so I need feedback. I don't care if its negative feedback either.
As for previews on the blog, I'm not there yet. I don't even know if I should ruin the blog with a commercial insert. It seems alright in theory but it might be better if its kept separate from the AD&D but I don't know.

Gene: I am very much interested in your future publications, I know they will be fantastic! I, for one, will be lining up to purchase! Finishing creative efforts is the toughest part I think, knowing when to wrap it up and let your baby fly! Best of luck to you, I am willing to support your efforts in any way, for sure as a fan of yours!

Feedback specifically on what should continue. More drawings and artwork, of course! If you need play testers for your module, maybe you could run a Roll20 session for some of us.

And your monster creations with artwork - I like those on your site and am looking where to use them!
I'm really interested in an original Gene Weigel adventure module and locale + awaiting to see when you have Hommlet/TOEE area expansion to adventure within!

The planar project is an albatross around my neck. The "fix" to make it one big book by myself is really juicy and I can't just let it go. I was thinking of blogging it but as a series. Its really big well way bigger than what Rob and GT saw. If I split it up and do it monster by monster then that might be a challenge because some of the new aspects aren't even illustrated yet and others need consistency of being grouped together. And I feel kind of bad that I didn't illustrate some things (the trow and the halfling/hobbit entry).
I also have underworld dwellers/gods galore that have not seen the light of day and i can't see them surfacing anywhere except on a blog.
I'm thinking chapter releasing the TOEE stuff because why wait? Its free, right?

For the blog's humor DRAGONFARTS cartoon, I'm trying to keep it as gamey as possible. I don't want comedy thats not having an insight/observation pay off of some kind thats the formula anyway.
Nothing is lit. I have a bunch of shitty thumbnails of cartoons that are ultimately generic and could have came from mid-80's DRAGON but I don't want to do that.
I'm not ready for the ongoing comic story yet but it'll be around sometime.

I've slacked off again after that short burst. Facebook has been a boost in some ways but in other ways its kind of distracting talking to depressed former associates. On the subject, I should have never "friended" Ernie Gygax. It almost seems like he's baiting me. I just invoked the "Juggernaut of the Outer Blackmoor Dungeon" a few minutes ago on an Ernie post. At least, it isn't that Troy guy! I also did a lot on my adventure. The entire upper area of the main dungeon is finished and its choice. Added in a lot of new game ideas there but the real "treasure" is below. I need more persistence. Working on multiple things at once is good but once you get off its getting back on that is the pain.
