Has anybody seen the 4e Greyhawk crap rumor going around?
If its true it seems on one hand they're fixing a lot of blandy Zeb Cook/Carl Sargent material of the worst kind but then when you see the details its all this talk of Planescape feel concepts like tieflings. Isn't that pure 2e crap of the worst kind? Is it like they want a new chance to ruin it again? I know I've said get rid of the Cook/Sargent/Williams era and it'll be great but not like that. That is definitely not going to be good for anybody even the Sargent flag wavers have a right to see their era destroyed properly and with taste. I'd hate to say lock up new content but setting back the clock to ruin it all over again but in a different way? Thats no solution at all.
If they do it then it has to be done with monsters of the style then more of such. Not cheap integrative grabs at style breaking concepts. Theres plenty of room for that stuff elsewhere, right?

I've heard the rumor, but haven't given it any thought. There's not enough substance to it.

I just can't be bothered to look at anything from wotc. Just don't care or have the time. I've heard a few things about 4E, but even if it's better than 3E, I just don't care. I still have way too much OOP that I'm continuing to catch up on and it's great reading.

It's not better than 3E/3.5E, just very different... and STILL not my cup of tea! ^__^
