Last night, after rolling a 2 for his 8th level hit die, Mark ripped up his "Grugy" character sheet.
I think Mark is a kind of werewolf.

I'm kind of glad he plays a magic-user in my campaign. No HD roll is really that much worse than any other.

I don't think Grugy would have made it to 8th level in my game. His low HP rolls would have cost him in my combat heavy style.

A fighter with bad hit points is still playable, as long as you accept he's going to be a support character or ranged fighter. That's what Grugy is! He's "death Elvenshadow."
Eric painstakingly taped the Grugy character sheet back together. I think he's going to have it laminated so Mark can't rip it up anymore.

It was impossible to resist, as inviting as a nereid's kiss... And if you are using laminated sheets, just watch out for the player who shows up with a blowtorch!
