In starting a new campaign, I decided this time around that instead of putting ads everywhere and dredging up people who define "D&D" very different from the Gygax mindset that I'd just let them find me instead and then get scared... I revised my "nearby gamers" profile and mentioned drinking 3 times. Do you think I should add "arm wrestling required"? Seriously, a few months back, I removed all my player request posts at various D&D sites. I was just tapped out on having to answer e-mails that constantly had that "I'm bored, I'd like to give something inferior a try" or "can I DM a different game there?" tone to them. If anybody knows anybody who is in the greater New York metropolitan area and is a serious afficianado of the classic D&D era then feel free to e-mail me: wildbillhackock@yahoo.com

Alas, the coolest NY player of 1e-style AD&D that I know personally is one "Gene Weigel"; but I hear that he is a "fireball"! ^__^
