This is the default arrangement. Any thoughts about alowing standard profession selection for demi-humans? Am I correct in thinking by the book there would be no demi-human full practioners?

I'll have to check up on this, but I don't think that Elves and such were prohibited from being Full Practitioners as long as they could "make the rolls"--it's just that many of their K/S areas are already chosen.

Did you ever look into this? My thoughts were that only those of the dweomercraefter or priest vocations could be full practicioners. And since demi-human is a vocation, it would not be possible.

Well, I finally sat down with the ol' books, and yes, the non-humans can be Full Practitioners as longs as: A) They have aMental or Spiritual TRAIT greater than 100 B) They choose Priestcraeft or Dweomercraeft as a Vocation (on pg. 94 in The Mythus Manual: "On the plus side, non-humans are not given a Vocation per se. The races each have a centrat TRAIT, but their K/S Area Bundles are otherwise generalized, so Vocation can be flexed as suits the player developing the persona.") Additionally, check the generic description for 'Elf' on pg. 332, beginning where it says "As regards abilities, this race..." where it essentially states that the average OP Elf will be Full Practitioner if their Vocation is either Dweomercraefter or Priestcraefter. C) They make their roll for Full Practitioner See also the last section of page 13 in Mythus Magic... the term "Elven mage" is used, and in Mythus, "mage" refers specifically to a Full Practitioner Dweomercraefter. Now... all of that said, the only non-human Full Practitioner I can recall from my campaign was an OP half-Elf... ^__^

I see. My mistake was thinking the race was the vocation. Thanks amigo.

Any time, Compadre! It was actually refreshing to "dust off" the ol' books and do some research therein! ^__^
