I was having an Orson Welles marathon and I watched this quasi-Shakespearean nugget of fusing Shakespeare's Henry IV parts one and two into a story that revolves just around Falstaff. It was typical Shakespearean dialogue everyone is drinking "sack" (wine) but the interesting part is the portrayal of the medieval Boar's Head Inn with all the colorful (Its B&W) low living. Even though he is a knight "Sir John" (Falstaff) comes across as a 0 level fighter.

I'll have to check this out. I love Orson Welles and especially like the medieval and EGG connection (i.e. considering involvement in a D&D movie later on) in this context! Also, it is reminiscent of how EGG used Falstaff as a sample character name in the AD&D PH!
