I want to make some commentary before it passes out of memory that the game play of the adventure was definitely redacted from the campaign as well as the yet to be published (June he said?) adventure. So "in-game" we might have been "magically" moved to a hot spot. I got the confirmation from Ernie last night that in order to move things along he removed terrain in the overland map as well as removed normal elements of the dungeon to move it along. So when the published version comes out expect there to have been things in the way.

Ernie was the first person I talked to that really discussed the difference between campaign play and home campaign play, or at least what the old home campaign play expectations were. Because so many of the early published adventures were tournament adventures, and there was almost nothing easily available to provide an example of what Gary, etc. thought a home campaign should look like, it changed the way campaigns were run. That's why so many gamers are traumatized by empty rooms, encounters that may be too tough for the PCs to handle at the time, etc.
