I am almost afraid to anticipate this, just because I know how often these promising flicks end up FUBAR. Good trailer though.

I've been a KING KONG VS GODZILLA fan forever so I love these guys for appreciating the fanss. Gareth Edwards in particular really put thougt into his GODZILLA take I felt like he was speaking to the real fans, So this being an extension of that I get it and I salute the effort.

Finally seen this earlier. does not disappoint. Stay for after the credits. There are so many references in film to various things that its a monster fan's dream come true.

I saw this a couple weeks ago with my wife and 10 year old niece. I'd heard a lot of mixed-to-bad reviews so I'd set my expectations pretty low but I really liked it - all of us did. I liked the tone - how it didn't take itself too seriously, but also wasn't a total parody or goof. It also had a lot of really great visual moments (we saw it on a 70mm film presentation that presumably helped emphasize that) - way more than it needed to, which was a pleasant surprise. The two leads - Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson - had good chemistry, and I hope we see them together again. Maybe someday we'll get a Loki and Captain Marvel team-up
