I just came back from this movie, I put it off because of all the thumbs down it received, and it did not deserve all the negative hype. Ben Affleck, and I'm not a fan, was not bad at all as Batman. I didn't like the first movie in this series MAN OF STEEL (2013) but this felt like it was addressed the major issues that I had with the first film (Supe's world view is addressed in different spots.) and was a good action fun film.

I took the negative reviews with a grain of salt since it seemed like there were a bunch of people who just couldn't wait to hate it. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm trying to find time.

There are some parts that some non-comic fans didn't even notice like the dream sequences are deliberate (sent?) visions of the future rather than just dreams.
After you see it you'll know what I mean. Pay attention to the details during those.

QUASI-SPOILERS: I liked the movie. although I thought there were a bit many "batman origin" flashbacks... I liked the Justice League hints as well (not quite on board with the new flash yet, as I'm fond of the old Barry Allen image)

I remember some comics retreading origins periodically to put a new angle. I wonder with all this sci-fi in the Bat-iverse if they'll have Michael Keaton come in as the golden age Batman of Earth Two?
