Does anybody know how much a dungeon cart costs? The traders in Hommlet sell them for 75% of list, but I can't recall ever seeing the item in the PH, and it's not handy to check. Maybe it was a carry over from OD&D?

I don’t know if this is what you mean, but the PH has a “cart” which costs 50 g.p. and a “wagon” which costs 150 g.p.
I don’t have M&M handy, but the 1977 Basic Game Book has “cart” costs 100 and “wagon” costs 200. That should be the same as M&M. (Prices is an area where AD&D was a major improvement over OD&D. In OD&D, Plate Mail costs 50 as opposed to AD&D’s 400!) Hope that helps at all. Regards.

I don't know; could be. I'd always assumed the cart from the PH was just your standard horse-drawn cart. this is from the trading Post in Hommlet, area "TP 10. Tack, Harness, Wheelbarrows, Dungeon Carts" "Most are available at list price. Dungeon carts are at 75% of list, one to a customer!"

Gary did post some details about the dungeon carts in the ENWorld moderators thread about their game in the Castle, although I don't recall if he included the price for them.
