one of the longest running characters in my campaign is a cleric of St. Cuthbert, a Billit. At least once the friends spell saved his behind. But I think going forward I'm going to go with the more logical option.

I believe that it was an editorial error--although Gar-Bear probably got 'em switched around in the first place, and nobody else caught it at the time. Certainly "Friends" would be more useful for conversion, and "Shillelagh" would be more useful to "enforcers". ^__^ My thoughts exactly.

Didn't this come up already in some questioning? I didn't bring it up but I recall mentioning it when I was doing Trowbane's priests.
