I've only read one of his books, Angels and Demons, and I liked it, but I have heard that he's written the same story over and over.

Fun link, Scott, I sent it to my brothers Heather and I are reading Angels & Demons right now (aloud), and it's OK. Some of the settings and art details are interesting, but I'm not very impressed with Brown's writing style, overall. I've heard that his books improve as he has written more; can someone who has read both A&D and The DaVinci Code comment on whether his prose gets any better?

I've heard that his books improve as he has written more; can someone who has read both A&D and The DaVinci Code comment on whether his prose gets any better? I've read both, and vastly prefer A&D over TDC. A&D actually has a theme and some depth to it...not to mention a good climax and a nice wrapup. TDC is obviously a literary vehicle for Brown's blind acceptance of all that Holy Blood Holy Grail nonsense, except that it's not even as clever at HBHG. TDC is shallow, predictable, and I can't see for the life of me what all the fuss was about...
