I went over there to the forum a minute and I think I was witnessing the announcement of the disintegration of GaryCon... You know... I can't fucking win.

Gary's son was on there for some time while that same post was made several times and nothing was said to the contrary.

Heh!! The "Fireball" still has it, doesn't he? Lookin' forward to seein' ya there next year, GW! We can run in Eric's Mythus campaign, and maybe I can finish re-vamping Lost Ziggurat with him by then! (I must add, Eric does a super job of running the game, and his players that I met were all top-notch! I was a rather spoiled HP, as I had a lot of SEC "cash" to throw around--a refreshing change from my original HP, Grigori!) Also, some good ol' 1E AD&D gaming too! Tim Kask ran a splendid example of old school gaming for us! We'll have to drag Scotty out next year... and make sure Rhu shows up again! Any more, a Con's not a Con without him! ^__^

I'm already there in my mind so thats good. I got the notion that I need to really bring it on this time around and be more active.

Yes GT & GW, you are both invited to my DJMGRPG next year! And whenever you are ready GT I would enjoy working on Lost Ziggurat with you. And thanks for the complement!! ;D (That means a lot coming from someone who has helped Mr. Gygax design the game!) I wish you could have played in the module that I actually designed for Gary Con I. It was much better than what I came up with off the top of my head in the hotel room. And speaking of such matters, you may find that you are missing a red 4-sided die. I found it mixed in with my DJMGRPG stuff when I got back to Ohio. I have a picture of you using said red random number generating device so I know it is yours. If you want I would be glad to mail it to you. Of course I could just keep it and give it to you at Gary Con 2010, thus ensuring that you will be thereā¦ ;D

Omigod! "The Holy Scarlet D4 of '84"; part of a matching set! ^__^ Well, barring the unforeseen, I'll see you at next GaryCon, and who knows... maybe we'll be able to arrange some Con of our own this summer in the interim! As to JMing, you know your rules (better than me, at this point!), and more importantly are able to keep up the flow of the game--especially impressive as we were all partyin' at the time! ^__^

Well I definitely changed my mind today about going.
I was gung-ho but I can smell confrontation coming from a mile away on this one.
I'm just forgetting the whole thing.

Yeah, hang out with Scott, Eric, Tony, and I... and Luke, Ernie, Tim Kask, and all of the "cool kids"! Heck, Paul Stormberg and I teamed up in Tim's dungeon adventure, and it was a hoot! ^__^
