I think this paragraph is describing chaotic evil twice:  and the demon references are twice in the brief history:  Unless you stretch and say that this wasn't the case. His level C 7/MU 12 I originally assumed the low cleric level meant that he was demon worshipper because they didn't have daemon lords back then but I'm not sure. I recall thinking witch doctor (C/MU)back then too but I don't know. I've always thought that he was CE. |

I see the history text as more literary, and demon-ridden isn't necessarily a meta- reference to the Overking's alignment. CE would work too.

After our previous discussion, I have to go with CE, 'cause we're given from Gary himself that he's evil, and the fact that his sanity is in question leads me to Chaotic. Plus the fact that he ever favored Xaene in the first place--a user of demons!
