I replied to a thread earlier that didn't show up and I keep going in reverse while navigating (example: click then bounce back to the last page). I only made it to this "new thread" button by having a high dexterity score it seems.
Is this happening to anybody else or is it a local problem on my computer?
BTW, that proposed 4e greyhawk nonsense thats bouncing around the net doesn't seem that bad however they've managed to "hang to the tang" once again by using goofball monsters.

Proboards was down for an hour or so earlier today. I couldn't see this site or any of the other Proboard sites that I frequent. Seems OK now.

I just had it again trying to get to this thread. Its like a rubber bounce back or something to main index. Even if I get three pages in by luckily quick clicking it pops back to the index. Now it settled.
Yeah, my proboard seems fine but mine is on a different server (I know from the last forum meltdown!).

Well, its still doing it. However, I just tried "Safari" and that doesn't have a problem. Hmmm...

what browser were youusing? Try eleting the cache, or maybe the pro-boards cookies if you can find them.

Internet Explorer 7, I did what you suggested and deleted the temp internet files and cookies. So far got no bounce back.

Yea, I had that bouncing issue as well.
I just had to let one page load up in its entirety before navigating to another. Then it worked for me.
I too am using IE7.

Blasted kittens! Sorry, right now I'm dealing with a menagerie on my keyboard! Little buggers keep typing crap in.
Otherwise, the forum is working fine for me now once I did the above.

Don't you guys use Firefox? FF works like a dream, for me at least. Failing that, try a Rod of Cancellation...

I always used IE in the past, but heard from several other people on the LOTR site I frequent that Firefox was the biz.
After a year I tried it - didn't like it at first, but gave it another try a month or two later. Since then I've used FF exclusively. I can't bear IE anymore.

I just had a post chopped and then I couldn't get on the forum. I went to the support forum and someone suggested removing the number after proboards in the address and it worked but my post seems to be destroyed. And it was a coffee-fueled sermon on grappling! DAMMIT!
