I've read it before, but now I can't find it. How do you determine an HP's maximum usable Grade for castings?

For those who may still be wondering, the maximum Casting Grade a Persona can use (not just HPs) depends on if he's a Full Practitioner or not. Full Practitioner: The highest Grade of Casting available in that K/S Area. Except for Grade X Castings, which require fulfilling special requirements. Since Gary didn't specify what those requirements were, it's up to the JM to set them out. I'd recommend the ability to use Grade IX Castings at DR Hard, plus STEEP in relevant K/S areas at 60 or more. This so even full fledged Bards don't get Grade X Spellsongs Castings at the very beginning. Powerful stuff like that you earn. Partial Practitioners: STEEP divided by 10 must be equal to Casting Grade. Exception; any STEEP works for Grade I Castings, though with a STEEP of 1 it's going to be a long time between successful attempts. Hope this helps
