My friend Taylor insisted that I watch this Cartoon Network Adult Swim cartoon by the creator of Dexter's Laboratory (1996-2003) which he said that has apes "that you would be interested in". I got up to the 5th episode "RAGE OF THE MAN-APES" and its sort of a rip off of stuff that I put in BROKEN CASTLE but its more like an homage or serendipitous similarity. Its not bad. I'd recommend it.

So I just finished season 2 and the "lost World of cavemen and dinosaurs with a pinch of fantasy" slowly drifted into an almost fantasy-less setting like Dangerous Journeys it seems. There is one odd non-sequential "one shot" episode in season two that takes place in the 1800's that carries none of the elements of the series except at heart which is weird.
Its a big cliffhanger that hinges on a revenge in a fantasy theme.

I don't mean DJ is "fantasy-less". I mean it seems like DJ mostly without fantasy.

When I see the premise of a caveman teamed up with a dinosaur, I have to admit I'm intrigued. Good old fashioned swords & sorcery? Young earth creationism as pulp fiction! I'm in!
