Just watched this French movie with subtitles on Netflix.
Very arty. Very odd. I liked it.

Its a mystery too without a loud explanation so it was nicely visual and well thought out.

I was thoroughly impressed with this movie. Simple and random seeming but extremely well planned.

I'll check it out. I don't mind subtitles. I'm in the mood for something creepy.

I watched this. It was good. It made me think that not many movie-makers these days are willing to be minimalist and let the atmosphere build slowly without explaining everything. It adds to the alien-ness of the experience.
I like being challenged, especially in the horror genre -- because as a viewer I don't know what's going on and I have this feeling I don't quite have enough clues to figure it all out, which parallels how the main character feels.

It can't really be talked about without giving it away. So I'll keep it brisk.
I liked how this works on many genre levels as well.
The meditation not just on the perspective, although there is a lot, but focus on the atmosphere even when the protagonist wasn't present in short bursts where its in your head and you have to make sense of it later (the film they are watching).
