Merry Christmas to all, and to the Jews, Happy Hanukkah!
Hopefully this year Santa brought you the Vorpal Weapon or Staff of the Magi you always wanted.

Greetings and Yuletide cheer! This is a good thread for my first post. I see some interesting threads that I'll talk to when I get some time. We've celebrated Chanukah, St. Lucia Day, Christmas Eve Dinner (12 fish dishes - my Lithuanian wife's family - heh, I did sneak in one Swedish dish on 'em Jansson's Temptation {ANCHOVIES yeah) and today Christmas. Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night. God Jul Y'all!!

Welcome Rhuv,
You folks do x-mas and Hanuka? The kids must love you! I ate entirely too much food yesterday and dared to combine strange and varied alcohol, and now I feel wretched.

Hello everyone, thanks for the welcomes.
Glad to be here.
I have lurked in years past, but as a grognard/newbie I didn't register or post.
Now, I'm ready. Heh, still a grognard newbie, but as a student, I'll occasionally cough up a question or viewpoint.

Yep, lucky me ~ from a mixed family to my mixed family! In good years, good presents - but this year we're poor and I'm planning to go to the Winter Dark, so very little for me. I spent eveything on my daughter, wife and gaming group (nephews), so I was glad to get very little.

I’m an atheist and I celebrate everything. I even make stuff up from time to time just to celebrate some more.

Heh! I'm an agnostic, and celebrate little but as a Capitalist I indulge in Christmas! ^__^ However, in a bar with pals, any times' a celebration! One of my buddies' toasts says it all: "Good times, good friends, more money!" Kinda like Tom T Hall: "Faster horses, older whiskey, younger women, more money!"

Yep, I like to celebrate anything especially if I can have an excuse to buy gaming stuff.
Heck, I celebrated a waxing gibbous moon once and hit eBay!! Yeah!

I just scored an old copy of The Morrow Project "Ruins Of Chicago". I had gotten a copy from the source originally, and given that to my brother as he really liked that game; so I'd been watching Ebay! ^__^
