I'm going to give Lejendary Adventure a try. I just ordered the Lejendary Adventure Essentials Boxed Set. I downloaded the Quick Start Rules a while back. I'm going to try to get a group back together and see what they think of it.

Scott Yuletide Greetings Scott, As a matter of fact, John Adams is now at work on a new set of QuickStart rules and secnario for the Troll Lord Games. BTW, and reader with editing talent might well be welcomed as a free-free-lance editor by the Trolls. They are the most prolific of the small publishers, bit editors cost money, and to maintain their schedule a quick and dirty approach is preferable to a slow and spotless one...at least from the standpoint of most authors and customers I speak with. Hmmm. I think the trolls have a bigger problem with the layout work then the editing. In the past their products were full of instances where one sentance would just end in the middle. Another would start half-way through. Two versions of different background material were Frankenstiened together, BUT Mouths of Madness was excellent, so maybe they have finally made it over that hurdle.

They put Peter Bradley in charge of layout for several projects this past year, which I believe he enjoys as it is a change of pace for him after he spends days on end illustrating pictures. He also took some courses on it in art school, so he's got a foundation. But I have to admit, in regards Mouths of Madness, I pestered him about a little this and a little that, driving him nuts with layout minutia, but he loves old Ghul just the same.

I'll give it a try if you run the game, Scott.

I'll try to run something once I finish up on the adventure I am working on now.

Maybe next summer if we all make it to LG, we can get Gary to run us in a LA and a classic 1E AD&D game... and frankly, Gary might let us run him and others through one of our classic-style modules! (and it'd be great if Luke and Ernie were there too-- I got to co-run Luke through some Changeling material with his buddies and it was a blast!) ^__^

If I make it to LG next summer, you can bet I'll be running a game, maybe even some Castle Zagyg if anyone would like to see how the apprentice works the master's forge. I'll run a game for up to 10 people!

The Lejendary AsteRogues Fantastical Science RPG is moving along towards the stage where it will go to the publisher. The extensive campaign base book is being sompleted now, shpuld be ready in a few months.
Also working is the Lejendary Elder Worlds SF RPG, a more hard-science game to serve as the basis for many campaign settings/worlds featuring various SF aspects.

Is the Lejendary Mutants book GT mentioned in the other thread still in the works?

I e-mailed Gary, Scott and he said Lejendary Elder Worlds is indeed separate from Lejendary Mutants. LM was supposed to be rather like Changeling-- I still have some notes around, so if it's as fallow as it appears and you wanna give it a crack after you finish your current project, I can get 'em to you!

If anything, I'd prefer to work on an Unhallowed-type rule set if I was going to work on an expansion genre for the LA system. The first thing I would try would be an adventure for the existing LA rules.

Well, Scott, you have the C&C adventure module on your plate now, and the Trolls are interested in short LA game adventures... Using the existing LA FRPG cire rules and the initial passes I have made for use of firearms, as well asthe examples of new Abilities and how existing ones from other genres connect to a new one gives a solid basis for working up a new genre--such as Lovecraftian-type horror/ Cheers, Gary

Well, I actually was thinking of other adventures besides CZ in LA format... CZ belongs to Oerth, LA is, literally, another world! ^__^

Gaxmoor could make an ok conversion. I can't see CZ for any system but the class/level system it was written for.
