Or it could be a combination of all factors: Toss up over "Gleed" or "Gleep" originally goes with "Gleep" for local pun. Then the immediate comparison with Myth Adventures' "Gleep the pseudodragon" badgers Gary into recalling the toss up and throws "Gleed" back into the ring for the compilation to "shut the buggers up" or something like that. I can just imagine old Gary's response up there somewhere beyond Greyhawk.... "Ho indeed! You've sussed out the answer once again, old top! (VoV)" etc., etc., etc.... Meanwhile, he really named the character after onomonopoeic observation of his pet frog's vocalizations when he was in grade school...

Heh! I'd forgotten about that dragon in those grand Aspirin pun novels (well, "grand" if ya like puns!) I originally thought: "Gleep... I've heard that before... Hmmmm. Maybe that odd critter accompanying Terry and Princess Dawn in that "Here Comes The Grump" fantasy cartoon series! No, wait; that must be the THC talkin'... that was "Blip"! " ^__^

Their levels remained the same but their scores went up for stats Fonkin: S 15 to 17 C 14 to 16 CH 16 to 18 Alignment LG to GG Nitpicky, but Fonkin went from 15/15/9/18/16/18 to 17/15/9/18/14/16, just to clarify. And I always preferred Gleep - I liked the fact both first and surnames ended in "P", reverse alliteration if you will - to Gleed.

Ooops the last two were reversed...so much for my data entry skills! Nice catch! I would've did the same. Anyway, it still is strange though all the adjustments.
