The DungeonDelver mentioned on DF, that Rob moved back to WI. Now Othlinden's posts (at the PPP forum) make more sense, since he said he was going to Rob's last week or so to help with some orders.

Perhaps Allan can shed some light on the matter the next time he stops by, since he calls him on occasion.

I last spoke to Rob about 10 days ago or so, and am planning to try to catch up again this weekend.

Is he in Florida, or Wisconsin?

WI for sure. He's in a suburb just outside of Milwaukee, don't recall the name though.

Thanks Allan. Hopefully everything is OK with Rob and he can get back on track.

Well, I noticed that Rob has posted on his boards and was very glad to see that and then . . Yuku fubared. I can't hit the sit. And then I tried going to the forum through PPP and I think I'm OK. Might have to update links.

Yes, I made a rather 'critical' post earlier, and then he showed up. I can't access the site now through either method.

I just accessed the site--looks like the Stalk is at the publishing point...

I'd really love to see a good book about TSR for sure. But I would hope it would be complete including Interviews with as many ex-TSR peeps as possible. I think Rob could do a great job on it. But I think Scott's point was - get PPP on track and get all orders out before making announcements for future products.

My point, amongst other thigs, is the proposed book is a terrible idea.

I assume this is it.Well, I'll have to agree that first things first sounds good. BARBAROUS COAST maybe and I better get my input in it or I'll roll it up and stake him with a rubber mallet! Seriously, I believe the most angry of the angry people (even going way back) still wish Rob to get his act together. I still wish to see what was imagined fulfilled and see him rise above the low watermark he's established for himself. I'd still buy his stuff as long as its "out" for sure. His "direct" angle came to a crashing end and violently wrecked the expectations across the board.

I looked at PPP several times a few months back, but the whole site kept playing up and the forums weren't much better. And I'd heard about the ordering problems many customers had suffered, so I decided to give it some time and see how it panned out. Looks like it's getting there now, but it'll be a while yet before they're trustworthy. And that was when I had some money.

I just placed an order for PPP stuff I've wanted for a while... I'll let you all know how it goes.

I spoke to Rob tonight, and he sounds fully-back to his old self. We were discussing several different sets of options about next sets of products, and he's going to be meeting with his investor this week, too, so I think some of this will all settle down over the next two weeks or so, and that we'll hopefully have a viable production schedule figured out as well.
And, now I'm off to bed!
