Actually, I have a 1/2 ogre fighter (as per the Gar-Bear write-up) as an NPC in my world (Ergo by name!) He's chaotic evil however... ^__^ The 1/2 orc fighter's name is Orgo! Thats a pretty weird coincidence. Although, I originally named him "Gorgo" and everybody started calling him "Orgo" by mistake. So when I redid the sheet in 1984 onto a yellow official sheet I just called him "Orgo".

I had all the evil characters PCs and NPCs converge in Molag once for a convention of villains which was just roleplaying but it was funny. The other half of the game they played their normal characters running through an adventure module, I forget which one.

It is evident that Gene and I are both influenced by the JLA/JSA/Injustice Society/etc. format of DC/Marvel Comics! I submit that Gary and company were as well... ^__^

Let's see... For inactive 1st edition chacters, I have an 8th level monk, a 7th level magic-user, and a 2nd level fighter. I don't really have free-floating characters like in the old days... the first two are in "Eric's World" and the last one is in "Scott's World." 1st edition characters I still have from earlier than that (dating from the early 80's) are just kind of ridiculous...

Well, in all honesty (and I stated this before, somewhere...) Woodstock had been elevated to "quasi-deity" status by Olidimarra, but we decided this wasn't much fun; so we retrograded him back to a high level Bard, and everyone was happy! ^__^

How would you want to run a PC through CZ in a "Con Group" setting Gary? An established, if altered, PC or a brand new 1rst level?

I don't have any real preference. I could bring in an established character, but that doesn't really have significance to anyone else but me. I'm just as happy to play a pregenerated character. I agree with Scott that we probably shouldn't bother with 1st level characters in a Con-style game. In a normal campaign I like the integrity of always starting at 1st level. But for something like this, I'd say letting everyone start (or pick) 3rd-5th level characters might be about right.

We need GW's input, too--and what classes everyone's interested in, but I'm open to pre-gens... ^__^

I'd like to play a half-troll "berserkering heal blaster" class with a three-pronged 4 handed "Offender" (+5 attack or -5 save versus death magic) sword that does 44-45 damage in all honesty... Seriously, what are you talking about? Having a convention and bringing a character?

If Gene gets to play his troll heal-blaster, then I want to play either a "Prismatic Commando" or a "Vorpal Cowboy" (they're classes from that issue of THE DRAGON you never read).

I remember bringing Grok to GenCon 2002 and I snipped off all the weaponry leaving a few paltry weapons and those other guys that were playing had all this customized equipment. Next time that I bring Grok I'm bringing the entire Grok collection with the entire Wood Wolf tribe*! *Well, whats left of them after the Siege of Skulldon obliterated his light cavalry:

Back on track, I hammered diligently to merge Bill's resources of the old Greyhawk/old Europe campaign with the current world of Bravesword and it looks good at least on a map. I shipped him the new map but I need some way to figure out his population increase over the years (any suggestions?). I also finished the realm of Henry's "taking of G1" by having dynamic interactions on a map with the locals with the shift of power. So he wants to do a pre-game sit down about that. Now the Blackthrush thieves guild for Taylor, man, this is going to take some work. I'm thinking of giving him insider information on the black market...if only I had a non-black market....

Update:
Taylor doesn't want to use his thief. He's digging out his illusionist. So I'm rewiring my focus towards the main city's magical resources.
And it appears that new players are scarce. My top candidates are working.
