Not a bad series. It did lack a comic book feel though.

The only adaptation that rang 100% true was the 1960's MARVEL SUPERHEROES Hulk chapters. Next I'd say is the early 80's Hulk (1982?) that had a lot of spunk like the SPIDERMAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS because it had the same style going on: Stan Lee narration and villains straight out of the current comics although it was "made with kid's gloves" for the aesthetics of the 80's. The "live action" show with Bixby is good and bad at the same time. Low budget sci-fi always is however they were deliberately trying to make an entrance into thoughtful drama with this and that really failed folks who were expecting "universe shattering action" that is the standard hallmark of the green goliath. Frankly, I wouldn't care if anybody cried over the Hulk ever again. I'd rather just see him just crush monsters and shit.

Not a bad series. It did lack a comic book feel though. That is true, it was more of a drama than anything else. And it was as serious as a heart attack all the time. I do remember the late 1970s Captain America TV movies fondly. Maybe that's just because I was young.

I finally got to go see the Iron Man movie last night. I loved it, but the power went out in the whole cinemaplex just as Iron Men was flying to confront Obadiah Stane and save Pepper Potts... so, I still haven't seen the ending. ARRRGHHH!!!

I guess it's not a big deal -- I can pretty much guess the ending... and I know I like the Iron Man movie enough that I'll buy it on DVD when it comes out. I can use my ticket stub to go see another movie for free. I might use it to go see the Hulk or Indiana Jones.

I just saw THE INCREDIBLE HULK today. Some folks seen it a couple of weeks ago and said IRON MAN was better. Nah, I'd say they were on par. <<<<<<MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS>>>>>>>>>>>>> The main actors really are aiming for that original feel. Banner looks like a skeleton and Ross is really fucking Ross. Its like a dream. William Hurt really pulls it off. Tim Roth as the Abomination is a complete reimagination but it maintains all the elements of the Big A's origin with a little extra origin fused in there. The cameo appearance was cool and what was with that remote setting at the end? Is that a hint? If you're a real Hulk afficianado you all know what happened when he headed that way, right?

I've enjoyed both games for the PC as well. I finished IRON MAN but I'm still smashing about Manhattan in THE INCREDIBLE HULK. The IRON MAN game features comic standbys "the Maggia" and A.I.M. plus the Titanium Man in addition to elements of the film (Iron Monger, S.H.I.E.L.D., etc). THE INCREDIBLE HULK features the Enclave, the Bi-Beast and one of my all-time faves the U-Foes in addition to film elements Ross' army and so far the pumped Blonsky. The Enclave and the Bi-Beast have been rammed together hard I think it might be one of those British "Ultimate Comic" takes that I'm not familiar with. Sorry folks no "bird city" for the Bi-Beast and no "Him/Adam Warlock" for the Enclave. Dammit! Fucking "Ulti-Brit" B.S.!!!
