I got around to watching this after only seeing the first 20 minutes or so a while back and getting my movie time bumped. No one wanted to watch this in the family. Here is my take: You guys know I want to like this movie however it goes political brain dead that it just reminds me of SUPERMAN IV THE QUEST FOR PEACE (1987) the Hitler level villain is rubberized and forgiven because he is ethnic-seeming with flashbacks of racially charged unnecessary scenes that I can imagine any moderate literally catapulting out of the theater. All in all, the actors are good but the PC is super charged and the star actually has more leverage here so she naturally injects her internet personality into the plot with literal incoherent results. There is a script buried underneath here and it shines through but the producer seems insane. There are moments of goodness. Kristen Wiig in particular shines in this role. The villain is Maxwell Lord which I thought was an odd choice. Chris Pine is great on the screen with Gal Gadot. The end credits are very light ephemera as far as continuity but probably what I enjoyed most about this outing context-wise.
