This is weird and interesting so I thought that I'd share the kookiness.
I was waiting for my son's school bus at the entrance to my little community (there are no gates). Across the road, there is another community and to the left of it a pharmacy with an access road leading up to the entrance of that community. A white car coming from either the community or from the main drag up by the drug store, through the access road, came out of there.
At the same time, I'm writing a text message (Condolences to Ernie Gygax about the dog. Not that we're bosom buddies but I just met the dog.) and the car is crossing the road towards me then it is there for a while waiting to move to their left (going to my right). Its sitting there so I turn around and lean against the wall so as not to seem to be staring. Then I hear an unknown man's plain American accent (Non-Southern, non-Florida),"HEY, BITCH!?!? I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!" I turn and behind the wheel is the faceless silhouette of a large person (Chunky or muscled?). I make a WTF rising anger face and the car peels out. I was flabbergasted. After some thought, I was thinking:
A)Crazy B)Mistaken identity C)Prostitution D)Drugs E)Internet slighted person F)"Henchman" of a known out-of-state slighted person
I'm was leaning towards C with the "bitch" remark but sounds like fighting words at the same time. At the same time, I think my karma slate is clean as regards slights.
You can't make this crap up!

It's been a while since anyone accosted me out of the blue, so I don't know what to make of that. My first thought would be drugs. When I was in Providence for the NECRONOMICON in August 2019 I was walking downtown and a black guy came up to me and was saying weird things, some of which could have been interpreted as threatening, but I just ignored him and kept walking. I just assumed drugs and/or mental illness. My philosophy is that it's better not to engage, since if someone isn't making sense, engaging with them is unlikely to get them to make more sense.
