I've been replumbing my pool since yesterday. So I'm a little out of it lately. I've been looking for parts and going bananas. So if anybody needs to talk pool plumbing...

If I acquire any pool plumbing knowledge it will increase the chance that we will get a pool and I'll have to use that knowledge.

Spent the last two days dismantling the filter multivalve. Spring loaded fun in the sun. It was jammed with disintegrated pool surface. Had to clamp it together slowly to reassemble. Now I wait for the next event... I am so burnt out.

Had some more "pool fun" yesterday. The wonderful dog that my wife bought a golden doodle, who likes lapping the yard ay high speed digging chunks of the lawn out, this time knocked out the pool wiring.
A few days ago, I just stopped but I had no idea what happened so I'm going through a hundred steps to try to figure this out. Yesterday, I'm going through the wiring because there is a wire laying across the grass. Its complicated automation to a panel that has a timer and a remote. So there is about 4 or 5 big wire tubes and two loose ones.
Then I'm brushing back the grass to make sure I'm counting all of them and I'm like what is this big fat black corded wire? That wasn't here yesterday? Boy, was that snake mad!
Heh, I finally figured out how to rewire the thing this morning after a lot of mosquito bites.
