I am watching this documentary on Amazon Prime. I have always been fascinated by the planets of our solar system, and this documentary has a lot of information that I didn't already know. Highly recommended. For some reason, Saturn has always captured my imagination the most: a gas giant, with rings, and planet-sized moons... I wish I could live long enough to see the results of probes to exoplanets in other star systems!
Every time I watch something like this it fires me up for a science fiction game. Which sf RPG's are the best? We've already given our opinions of STAR FRONTIERS which tried to focus on pulp era shoot outs in space but missed the mark. What about TRAVELLER? I was thinking something about exploring new planets or star systems... Discovering the unknown... Possible first contact scenarios.

I've heard good things about _Stars Without Number_ but have the same experience with that system that I do with Traveller---none Allan.

I have a few space/sci-fi systems I'd like to try. Once the GD series ends I'm going to give D&D a break to try something else. Sci-fi, horror, or hero.

The Great Conjunction a few nights ago was pretty cool, as well.
