Got a deadline of Saturday. I'm putting shit in the trash that I never thought that I would. Dumped all weapons but flail today.

Slept all day still no energy after last night packing leftovers. Now I want to eternal lie...
Seriously, it's going to be a long way to the top if I want to start online campaign but it'll be worth it in the long run. It think the goal is physical and online by winter.

Still in limbo. No signs of a settling in yet so the hiatus on output might be longer.
Looking at realty and neighborhoods in "hotel mode" for the past few days.

Good luck finding your house, Gene! Watch out for those giant alligators and salamanders! They're everywhere, like random encounters!

Enjoying the critters, went into a swamp briefly to check out the wildlife. Incredible. Things never change in swamp hell.

Plan B a few days ago. Sale is still pending due to buyer being Manhattan restauranter. On my end, houses on market, in style I want, are mostly fixer uppers so ain't jumping. Ended up renting a modest house in the meantime so things are temporarily stabilizing. Maybe in the next few weeks things will get back to normal.

Well on the bright side, at least you're out of hotel mode!

Right now we are at another airbnb by the gulf til tomorrow. Kayaking the canals. Jimmy Buffet type atmosphere. At least, the margaritas are really well made!

My foo lion broke that I got from the Japan pavilion at Epcot in 1983 when MM2 came out... Damn... I was so worried about the Cthulhu originals that I should have put more wrapping on the lion. My daughter was saying in Japan they repair shattered ceramics with hold glue. Never heard of it.

Oops "gold" glue.
Still waiting on some financial payoffs until settled and get back to work. I've been working on some material. I have a fiction series laid out that involves "The Swordlands". Hopefully get the first short story (chapter) out on the blog then have it all as a $7.99 "book" on Amazon later on.

Still in vortex mode. Almost pulled out notes the other day but thought better of it. Didn't want to lose material in the mess.

Looks like the house might have to go back on the market. OUCH! Basically, not on track at all. Have a rudimentary "office" A room-sized hallway loaded with boxes. Deleted all the family internet bullshit (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) as its too distracting. Just put the computer together last night so I'm back on-line. Maybe can start projects again.

Sorry to hear that. It's a mess even when everything goes right.

As I get more day-to-day with the "happier" surroundings here in Orlando, I have noticed a surplus of bad D&D everywhere. Where in NYC it was reduced due to location expense its like a gaping wound here. Weird. The "geek" feel is the norm with massive cheesy Hasbro displays in front windows of comic shops for over-priced unpainted "miniatures" (Kiddy toy look. Makes the 80's toys look like miniatures.). I honestly instinctively want to avoid it but my two daughters just turned into "were-Rowlings" after following some controversy (The oldest received a Rowling dump from relatives of books, games and toys which were passed down and each in turn rejected until now.) and seeing dad's grimaces is pure entertainment apparently. So I have to come with them into these dens of aesthetic inequity.
There is public gaming at some locales so that might be interesting. Maybe after New Years.

I always have this image of Orlando as a giant plastic castle in the middle of a swamp. It shouldn't be there -- but there it is.
Gene, I thought you said your kids were playing in BROKEN CASTLE. Have they played any more game sessions in it?

It's too chaotic right now but once things stabilize. I might just say fuck it and hit them with a game. I want to finish the TOEE project but the next installment is a big module. So I might transport them there to see how it plays.

Its been worth it these past few weeks especially. The creatures are everywhere if you open your eyes.
The moth whose photo (Hickory Horned moth - caterpillar and moth fused) that I used for the basis of the "buttersteed" monster from AMONGST THE ELVES landed on my car the other day. I almost crapped my pants. It let me look at it up close before taking off.

Trying to get organized still. I'm going to pour through everything to reorganize. Did a lot of work on the TOEE add-on series over the past week but it was spread out over the areas.
