Just watched this and was way better than the last film I saw by this director Panos Cosmatos who did that stylistic horror Beyond The Black Rainbow (2010). Cage is back as an alternate film screen protagonist, as he once was, in this for sure.
Not for kids for sure but I'd rather not go into any description for spoilers just say it was recommendable.

Without going into an explanation (until later) its definitely relatable to our mindset.

This is that rare film that sticks in your mind because of the many layers. Well thought out and ultimately fulfilling.

Not yet, but I'm looking forward to it because I like weird movies and I saw this was influenced by or reminiscent of Fulci, Argento, Jodorowsky and Kubrick. I like movies that shun traditional story telling structures and challenge the viewer, as long as they are well thought out and not simply weird for weird's sake.
