You guys planning any holiday gaming for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas/New Year's?
For Thanksgiving, I think the boys are trying to rope me into picking up where we left off with A1 Slave Pits of the Undercity again, unless they decide to play in Castle Greyhawk and/or want to try out a new game (we demo'd Upwind this past weekend and they really enjoyed it; I don't have books yet, so that would be somewhat complicated in the near-term).
Over Christmas I'm fairly sure we'll play either Castle Greyhawk or Henry's mega-dungeon, but since it's only a week-long visit (including travel days), it may not work out. We'll have to see....
Allan.

Every time that they have a holiday get-together they want to gamble with "Left Right Center" I got conned into it last year and won everything and as I said before people start hating on winners after gambling anything. They also played "Cards Against Humanity" which was very vulgar and I had to cut it short. We played "Trivial Pursuit" a new edition and people were cheating on their phones. No joke. This Thanksgiving, I'm being force marched to in-laws (You know? The usual? ) so the chances of a quick throw in D&D game have reached -100% at this point.

I wish. Family gatherings for me are target practice, shooting pool and avoiding being baited into political arguments. On the up side, nothing really disrupts Game Night for the old crew every other week at my house -- except holidays. We're currently playing AD&D in Ray's original world. I'm lucky to have such a long-running gaming group.

Yes, we are continuing the current campaign through the holidays - we should have a big player group this coming Wednesday night prior to thanksgiving!

Nothing special planned. Got our regular bi-weekly game tomorrow, the party should finish up White Plume Mountain, and then probably head back to the Wild Coast for a stretch.

My weekly game with my son fizzled during HS football season. Hoping to pick it back up again soon. He's started Secret of the Slaver's Stockade, and had stirred up a hornets nest last time we played.

I'm imagining if Thanksgiving this year was going to be like the ending of ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE with people dumping dice and miniatures onto the table.....? WHY YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED D&D BEFORE NEPHEW-IN-LAW STEVE...! Daddy, teacher says, "Every time a chest is opened an elf player gets his ears." THATS RIGHT... THATS RIGHT... <<< Gene wakes up from a dream and is at the Thanksgiving table.>>> Like, who isss coming with usss to the club now?Uhhh... give me another slice of that turkey...
