I've inserted Skip Williams' A0, Danger at Darkshelf Quarry, into the current campaign.
Has anyone had experience with this adventure module before? If so, what do you think about the adventure, and what modifications or expansions did you incorporate? How did any adventuring go with this module?

I haven't played or run it, just skim-read it. It seemed serviceable but very generic and (probably not surprisingly) felt to me like a 3E-era adventure, like something that might have been included in Dungeon magazine.

The quarry leader (secret slaver), Brubgrok, alias Bazili Erak, is supposedly a half-Orc who can pass for a dwarf.
He seems similar in his description to an azer, or some type of azer cross-breed, so I'm thinking to tweak this a bit, just not sure how exactly yet?
His associate, Glyrthiel, is an elven fighter/magic-user, who I might tweak as well?
There are a couple of human elemental evil clerics in the lower quarry, as well as an additional one in the quarry caverns amidst troglodytes.
All of the above I might make some modification refinements to...any thoughts?
Looking at humanoid shamans/witch doctors, along with potential clerics of Iuz who have change self capability...?

An alternative for Glyrthiel could be a jackalwere?

I may change out the troglodytes in the quarry lower caverns with bullywugs or half-bullywugs?
It seems they are a better fit (than troglodytes) for being the cavern's killer frog breeders, and associating working with chaotic evil demonic-worshipping humans and bugbears, with incidental contact with goblin miners in the quarry?
Have you had half-bullywugs limited to human cross-breeds, or have you had various humanoid bullywug cross-breeds, such as with say bugbears? What others have you experience with?

I don't know. I got off the Skip Williams wagon back in the 90's. I joked around about Grubbian and Cookian crap but Williams I signed off on after they "reprocessed" my letter that I wrote in 1992 that they published in 1993 DRAGON #200. So I've got a bad taste for his material. I think he did some other Greyhawk porn in a module called AXE OF THE DWARVISH LORDS that I bought and regretted.
That said, in addition, I don't like to retool adventures and rather let them stand on their own merit. So people remember that it wasn't the designer that made it good as is the problem with s much D&D stuff. In my journey, good DMs made turdmongers like Monte Cook, James Wyatt, etc. seem like they had some okay ideas during that third edition stretch I was on. Looking back at the actual adventures not so much.
As far as bullywugs fitting in I saw the adventure "Darkshelf" but it looked like the same Greyhawk porn as before and never gave it a second glance.

Wish you wouldn't hold back so much and tell me what you think...?!😂 The main antagonist is hunchback half-Orc dwarf impersonator Brubgrok, so I thought it could possibly have some sort of redeeming feature for you in this dungeon module, Gene? It sounds like we're supposed to 'grok' from the main antagonist that he's one of several infatuated brother-husbands = 'brub' of a true (witch?) of a woman ala Esmeralda of the Hunchback of Notre Dame...? Just having some fun...😀 It makes me think of all that Church of St. Cuthbert in Hommlet bell-ringing Calmert does - maybe he's going deaf...?
