Well, I finally tried this out in regular difficulty and the first area was a little hard to see it when I adjusted the darkness for the logo to be barely visible. I might have to change that because it was crazy with the flashing emergency. I would recommend anyone with epilepsy stay far from this game. So far I think it was some zombies and then imps but it was hard to see. Just got to an outdoor Mars area and I decided to call it quits.

I found a secret "classic" level and now its says they're on every level hidden. Great! Pretty cool concept though. With the new mixed with the original.

This DOOM is very satisfying although the load up takes some time (30 seconds?) to load up again (15 seconds?) its worth it. Has tributes and the return of the barons of hell. The style is frenetic but in a good way. Running around like a maniac pays off big time.

I have it but haven't played in a while. I'll have to give it another try after I move on from Tomb Raider.

Its easily a 2 hour game. I felt FAR CRY PRIMAL was satisfying faster because of the "do what you want" mentality but DOOM rewards subtlety and bravery you can go back at a later level of power to dig for the secrets.
I just read that online because there is a lockout at the end of the hell level and I couldn't go back. I replayed the level and all the very low key background plot is moved forward but you still need certain keys and all the monsters are as they were so its not like you're getting it for free.

I meant 2 hour to play in one session. The Far Cry I could play for a half hour and then come back later.

I just did the finale on DOOM so I tried the multiplayer and AGAINb like the STAR WARS... its total cheatsville. I placed three rockets firmly on the back of a player at almost point blank range (well, enough that there wasn't a back blast). NOTHING. Then I get instantly killed from a single shot. There is a challenge when you can't win to try to get away but I just wish there was an honest final summary in these games that tells you how much damage was given out by you. That would at least give some feedback.
