This is a new D&D computer/consul game was recently released. I think it was done by the same people that did the Baldur's Gate games. It's FR, obviously. There are single player, co-op, and DM modes. I haven't played it yet, but the game play looks very similar to Baldur's Gate. I think I will pick it up, but I haven't decided on a platform yet.

The last that I played in that series was NEVERWINTER NIGHTS, an offline 2001 remake for the PC of the 1991 PC online game and then BALDUR'S GATE: DARK ALLIANCE for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. I think the GameCube game was the last straw for all things Ed Greenwood for me. The flavor is too offputting.

So this is out on PC/Mac, but the console version (the version I was looking for) isn't out until next year. I started playing Star Wars Battlefront. Just getting the hang of it, but fun so far. Anybody have an Xbox online account?

Finally released for Xbox One. Very much like Baldurs Gate. 5E isn't 1e, but it's a big step closer than 3e or 4e. Haven't had a chance to mess with DM mode yet.

One of the Player options is Dungeon Crawl mode, which is a randomly generated dungeon.

Have you played any more of this SWORD COAST LEGENDS game? What's your review?

Unfortunately I don't get to play that much. It's like Baldur's Gaye in play, but with 5E mechanics, which aren't as bad as 3E, but can still be fiddly.
