I'm pretty pumped... My original Mythus books are sort of falling apart so I decided to do like Shalaban and separate it all out and put it in sheet protectors and then into notebooks, adding along the way any errata and campaign specific stuff. So i wanted to get another set of books and I found some fairly reasonable at nobelknight. They arrived and are like new so cool. Then a few days later I was digging around for maybe one more set and I found something called a presentation set at The Dragons Trove. It is very cool. it has Mythus, Mythus Magick, Mythus Bestiary, Epic of Aerth and Necropolis in a cool storage box. Best of all it was brand new in the shrink wrap. Cheers! MJW

Well I have finished reading the Mythus core rules, Mythus Magick, Epic of Aerth, Necropolis and I'm working my way through the bestiary.
I have to say I am more excited than ever to run this game. What do I love about it so far?
The ability to create any character I can think of. I mean there really is not concept you can't make happen in this system.
The Magick system. I love it. I love how different types of practitioners have their own spell lists. I love how heka works to power the spells. I love the cool spell names and the easy ability to create custom castings. I'm a super huge fan of witchcraft as presented in the book.
The combat system. I love the time breakdown of AT, BT and CT. I love how you can differentiate a strong bash-em type of warrior from a fast and dexterous warrior.
I like how characters start off ready for real adventure without having to be coddled through lower level stuff.
I love the Epic of Aerth. In my mind the best campaign world ever. It makes sense. It is both historical and high fantasy at the same time and presented in a believable way. There is more world here than I will ever use but I consider that a good thing. There are so many different campaign options in Aerth that it truly makes me sad to think I won't be able to try them all.
Yeah I'm getting pumped.
Now to go through the books again while making notes and noting errors. Then I will begin on those magazines!
Cheers!
