Does anyone have any thoughts on what they'd like to see in an LA game set in WW2? It's a project I was working on with Gary years ago but hasn't really moved past abilities, orders, and firearm usage. I still have notes from Gary to pour over again, as well as getting myself back into it.

That's a tough gig for an RPG... I personally prefer my WW II games a la Avalon Hill, etc.--more strategy than role-playing. 'Course, I'm an old fart! ^__^

Well we played Peginc's Weird War Two for quite awhile until I simply decided I'll never run D20 again, and will either port the campaign over to Silhouette, Crusade For Europe, or Lejendary Adventure. Absolutely none of my OAD&D players wanted to try WW2, but once we played they all loved it, and I think it's many of their favorites now. The issue being I haven't taken the time to port the campaign over to a system I can bear. It does seem odd, but we had a lot of fun. I too prefer the strategy games for such things, but I don't have anyone to really play those games with. I have a nephew who loves them, but none of the girls do, and the other guys hate getting whomped all the time by me or my nephew. The ironic thing is I'm so rusty now they'd have a good chance. K
