I've been thinking about getting back into Rob's publications. I have everything he wrote up through The Living Room with the exception of Cairn of the Skeleton King which I unfortunately sold and is super expensive on eBay these days. I'd like some opinions on how hard I should try to get a copy.
As for the newer stuff, it looks like Bottle City is a real winner, and it’s a no-brainer that I need to pick it up, especially since I am running Castle Greyhawk currently.
What about Daemonic & Arcane, The Stalk, and El Raja Key’s Arcane Treasury? They look interesting (in that order).
The other thing I don't own is the AD&D Dark Druids PDF.
Any other advice regarding anything by RJK is appreciated.

Bottle City is one of the best all time.
CotSK is OK. Solid, fun, but nothing that really makes it stand out.
El Raja Key’s Arcane Treasury and Daemonic & Arcane are OK. Interesting, but I wasn’t really wowed by either.
The Stalk is ok. Good concept, but overly light on detail.
The Dark Druids PDF is good. The adventure is another one of my favorites. The presentation is much nicer than the D20 version.

Any actual Castle Greyhawk info in Daemonic & Arcane or is it just monsters and magic items?

Nothing really.

There are some GH tidbits in D&A, Philip, but they're pretty minor as Scott says. I'd recommend you go with BC and Dark Druids. If you don't also have Dark Chateau, I'd pick that up as well, since it's likely to be OOP and unavailable sooner than The Stalk or ERKAT.

I do have Dark Chateau.
BTW, hope Shook isn't too upset with his product being canceled. (I hope it doesn't mean another break-up has happened between them.)

DARK DRUIDS was recently republished by Chaotic Henchman Productions, and this version is for 1st edition AD&D Rules.
Has anyone ever played or DMed this module -- any version of it?
Scott, I always had a feeling with your Welkwood Campaign that you were grooming us for this module as a long term goal.

I have the 1E compatible Creations Unlimited version. I think the new one is straight 1E. I was definitely going to include Dark Druids. But it was one of several ideas I had.

The main story was going to be about a fallen elven stronghold once called Imlad Dómiel, now known as Imlad Nirnaeth. It was part Gondolin, part Nargothrond. It was an old, hidden stronghold that was eventually sacked, and now the lair of a dragon and his servants. The party would have to find the place, kill the dragon, and then one of the party elves would become the new lord of the city.

That sounds great! Imlad Dómiel (Valley of the Twilight(?) Star) and Imlad Nirnaeth (Valley of Tears) are cool names for the Tolkien fan to pick up on. And I like the reworking of old themes, like dragons sacking demihuman cities, into D&D games.
"It's what I do," the dragon said. "It's on my résumé: sack demihuman cities." "By demihuman, do you mean dwarves, elves, or what?" "I'm not particular," the dragon replied, picking a morsel out from between his teeth.
I just bought the latest Dark Druids reprint and it is a nice production overall. I'm a little bit disappointed with some of the artwork. For example, the rear cover was done by Ian Baggley, but this piece isn't at the same level of quality as what was in ASTONISHING SWORDSMEN & SORCERERS. Jason Braun did some interior illustrations and they also aren't at the same level of quality that I've seen him do elsewhere. But those are a minor gripes. The editing and layout seem very professional, and so Rob's creativity is displayed well here.

Yeah, I always thought the Dark Druids concept was a good one.

Imlad Dómiel was in the mountains west of the Suss, and sacked during the Hateful Wars.

I just tuned out when I glanced at this yesterday. I guess I'm pooped on Kuntz. Perhaps if "REAL TSR" had stayed together then Gary would have eventually hammered out Kuntz's material. I thin kwhen Kuntz came out of the woodwork there was a lot of hope attached but once you got to know his hopelessness then the "glass" seemed emptier.
We played through the DARK DRUIDS adventure run by Rob at GenCon and it did seem fun however upon perusing it afterwards there was a lot of half-baked material that could have used Gary's 1970's-1980's fierceness. This would have been great if it had the Gygax stamp and an AD&D logo over it.
That said, I have never seen, nor heard, of a Creations Unlimited version of DARK DRUIDS. Am I bugging out?

My bad, not CU. The D20 version.
