"Maybe if I publish a magazine under a name than that of my family, the wicked witch's lawyers won't see me?" * runs* Hope you all had a good one.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! For the "Year of the Coronavirus" it is necessarily a small gathering -- just my parents, their 85 year old neighbor, and myself. I am thankful to still have my parents (75 and 76 years old) and that they only live three miles away.

Well the nice thing about moving for the kids was leaving all the nuts behind. This will be the first Thanksgiving by default that has no comers due to proximity. No pop-ins anymore either. As a follow-up to my prior comment on this thread, we did the DNA for Dorothy and her mom and the "Indian" is there just not a lot. The non-cold Thanksgiving is weird. Its 83 degrees right now and I'm outside roasting instead of the turkey. The weirder thing is the diversity of and lack of bugs due to bug eaters. Last night, I broke in the fire pit for some early celebration and the copse of forest in back of the house was crawling with large movement. Very cool. To me. Everyone else was terrified. Hopefully, the air fried turkey they are making will be good.... Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. Yeah, it's a weird one, for sure. Because we have an extra small gathering this year, Liana and her mom have decided to make three times the food. Leftovers for days!
