Any comments? How about those bad boys in the Hexagonal East Wall Tower? That was a nice surprise.

I'd expected much more discussion on this thing, considering what it is.

I'll chime in more when I have some more time off--maybe tomorrow, although I promised to take my daughter to the park if it's nice. Today is the end of a fve-day work schedule.

I'd expected much more discussion on this thing, considering what it is. You don't know how hard it is for me not to read it. But, I'm glad to be able to play in it first. So I'm not complaining. How about posting a non-spoiler review?

What are you doing snooping around the spoiler thread then?

My review's about 4300 words so far, Scott, but I haven't finished, so I don't want to tip my hand early, so to speak Yamo's review is posted over on the TLG boards already (hasn't hit rpg.net yet).

FWIW, whether you ultimately feel as though the adventure is solid or lacking, I appreciate the time and effort you are putting into your review, Allan. Under Gary's supervision it took me about 18 months to write just under a quarter million words for CZ:UW, so I'm actually relieved it's taking folks at least a week or two to read through it before posting anything lengthy on the product. Cheers, Jeff T.

That's quite an accomplishment there. No rest for the weary though; back to work! We needs the precious dungeons!

Seriously, Jeff, great job. I can't wait to start taking some players through it.

Indeed! It's great to see this start coming out and having the ol' "Gygax feel"! Great job, from where I'm standin', Kid! (Now I'm glad I badgered him! HAR!!!) ^__^

I hope to start joining or creating some discussion soon. I'm just having trouble pulling myself away from the reading + there sure is a load of material to cover. And then, I'm making a "mountain out of a mole hill" with regard to reading this stuff, in that I go off and read other related stuff . . . CZ Yggsburgh, DC, WoG, GH mods, etc. So it's been fun and riveting to read and I'll be back to post, soon.

Scott, what do you think of the "Mouths" and "Store Rooms" maps compared to others from Gary or compared to what other info has been around with regard to the original GH dungeon.
Do you think your players will handle the mapping well?
Mine are going to be challenged, but I hope by the time we all get there, they will be more experienced. Mapping is one of the things that I have been pushing them on to do better, so it should be loads of fun for all of us.
;D
