For now I still plan on using the Castle Zagyg castle for the ruins, but turned 90 degrees clockwise so the main gate is to the north and main fortress overlooks the city. I have the road coming out Lordsgate heading almost due north and then turning east, a branch heading south leads to the gate. The prominence the castle is built on has a sheer cliff face on the south and a gentle slope to the north.

So how far up the Grey Run do you think is navigable? Gene, it looks like on your map you have heading north and hitting the Selintan again? I had it heading east towards the cairn hills.

The way that I had it was navigable into and back to the Selintan based on what Gary's answers were at the time not extracted from the books like a lot of things that I did prior.

Like a lot of the webpage version City of Greyhawk its so half-finished its useless and adds more questions which I can't answer.
Even in an alternate universe where this comic book publisher published the adaptations of Gord the Rogue and all the side bits were published if Gary continued on from there to Troll Lords to Castle Zagyg, which he was somewhat headed for at the time, everything that we would have finalized for the comic would still be Greyhawk limbo neither here nor there.
I'd love to finish that version of Greyhawk but without Gary it just seems pointless to do because some owner might claim any of my input. I wouldn't mind if it was Gary himself because he would have made it interesting with detail and as a fan that is what was important to me over anything else.
The most I could possibly do is use some insights for something else. I don't think my campaign city is publishable and this module series that I have been developing has its own city as a module which was already made back in the 90's and its nothing like Greyhawk.

I'm not interested in a finished anything right now. Most of it would never get any use. I’d like to develop some of the locations that come into play on a regular basis. I’ve got the dungeon down, but I’ve neglected the city aspect of the campaign, and the wilderness around has always been kind of vague.

Tomb of the ancients? What is it? A Facebook group? No joke. Those give me agita. I was just on a local one trying to discourage a vigilante mob and got deleted.. I'll try to log in though.

I'm sure I miss out on a lot of online discussions because I don't really understand Facebook, Twitter, reddit, etc. Discussions on those social media seem to be all over the place and when I use them I feel like a Tyrranosaur who can't reach the keyboard with his tiny forearms. I prefer simple fora like this board or the old mailing lists.
