Has anybody recieved their copy of M4 yet and had a chance to give it a good read through? I was a little slow on ordering mine. I hope to have it within a few days. Scott

It's got lots of references to the City of Elders, Elemental Planes, etc.--which will give us much to discuss once you have your copy, Scott! I give it an "A" as a finish to the M-series... I'm somewhat biased, but it really is difficult and fascinating at the same time; something I really appreciate in a module.

I'm still waiting. Rob had saved #1 of the signed, numbered copies for me. I hope I didn't wait too long to order though, and he ended up giving #1 to someone else. I was just thinking about writing him and asking if he's put it in the mail yet. Scott

Maybe Allan has #0, or something like that. ;-) Rob sent these out Media Mail so it might take a while (that is, if he's sent it yet).

I got mine from the man in person--and since Grodog-bro' was there too, I reckon we're like #0... ^__^

In the CU version of MoZ4, Zayene is 16th level there, and I wanted to keep him at the same level, since in d20 17th level mages get 9th level spells (they kept the spell progression every-other level, so 11th level MUs get 6th level spells, etc.). He already got a pretty hefty power-boost due to the bonus spells for his high INT, and I tried hard to make his spell selections as vicious as possible, including using metamagic feats to maximize his killing potential---he's got to be able to take on multiple PCs all by himself, and I'd like to think that he'd have a chance to get away if necessary too. FWIW on the numbering front, I have #3 of 125, so I'm not sure if Rob screwed up and numbered multiple sets of numbers 1, 2, 3, etc.

Remember that Xaene in WG8 is a 16th-level two-headed lich. Since that module (supposedly) happens after M4 the level seems to be right.
That said, I've increased Xaene's level in my campaign anyway!
