Oh-okay. I'll see if I can order a copy later. Bah, you're not a real Greyhawk fan, so you won't like it!! ;D Just kidding, Gene. I very much look forward to your thoughts on the Boxed Set. And GT, grodog and Scotty and all the rest of youse!! Well, these days I just can't drop $45 at the drop of a hat. I would've paid $4500 if it came out when it was supposed to though... ....IN 1982!!!!!Just kidding!

My friend was under the impression that they might have rushed out the sets they had at Gen Con, so maybe they're waiting on a further printing. The boxes were not shrink-wrapped or anything like that. Trust me, from what I've seen it's worth the wait. I just hope that further sets can keep up the quality and "Greyhawk" feel without Gary's guidance. Hopefully, the notes that Gary and Jeff worked out between them will be put to as epic of use in the next set! (There's a small bit written in the front of the opening book by Gary enumerating the incarnations of Greyhawk (his, not the two crappy T$R modules or the new "Ruins" thingy...) with mentions of EX1&2 and WG6 that is quite good... Kudos to Gary and Jeff! ^__^

I can't wait til I get my own copy of Castle Zagyg (as opposed to my buddy's!); I believe that this event will bring all four regular members and maybe then some back for such an event!

So perhaps wait for your LFGS to get one for yeh. So start putting those quarters in the ole piggy bank. [Heh, I do this a lot - save pennies and quarters. Way to go!! ]

Man o man, I got the boxed set.
Just friggin' incredible. Big, honkin' box full of booklets - Gygaxian goodness every which way.
Everything from the preface to the books, to the map, to the artwork ~ just awesome.
I've posted at TLG and DF with some high level superlatives, because I'm at a loss for words to describe this product.
Heh, and I've hardly read anything. Just enough and of course, I've scrutinized the maps a lot.
This will take some time to digest.
And as mentioned, I very much look forward to all you guy's thoughts and opinions on this.
;D

And just think, Rhu-dude--this is only the surroundings and Upper Works! Things will get even hairier as we go deeper!! ^__^ Some SPOILERS . . . ahead. Players don't read. Man, you're not kidding. There is so much that can be done with this now and in the future when the other dungeon levels are released. I'm thinking of Gary and Rob's other stuff that can now be plugged into CZ ~ in the castle, Bottled City and The Living Room. EX1 and EX2?? Not yet, maybe. Perhaps in the lower dungeon levels later. Portals . . . Isle of the Ape? Caves of Chaos and the portal to . . . the Red Planet. What else would be good to plug in? Heh, it'll be fun for all of us - putting it all together. ;D
