I just signed up for a free 7 day trial here: www.ddo.com/The graphics are nice, but I haven't really got to play yet, other than a few tutorial things, but I'll review it once I get a chance. Scott

So far, playability isn't that different from other online games. Evil characters are not an option, which is lame IMO. One of the race options is a kind of mini golem called war forged, I guess they're campaign specific, blah.

Can one be half-warforged?

Not yet, but that might be in the expansion pack.

That Dragonshard real time strategy game was set in Eberron and it was goddawful. The lizardmen made Jar Jar Binks look like Charles Bronson and the whole world just reminded me of some third rate generic 1980's action figure assortment to cash in on D&D's popularity for some reason.

Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics will be a round based game that will be coming out in November for PSP. Screen shots look OK. It didn't say for sure, but a review I read implied that it was Forgotten Realms, and I have to say that after Eberron, that's a big step up. You can also play evil characters, and go player vs. player if you choose. Scott

Well, I'm no FR fan, but after Eberron, it's definately a step up. If they release it for a system I own, I might give it a try, but for now it seems like PSP will be the only option.
