I recently created a cavalier that I am thinking of developing into a paladin-like character. I took religion as a K/S. Religion is a heka-generating K/S. What, if any, spell lists does the character have access to, or do I need to add something else, like priestcraeft, to be able to cast?
In answer to the first question, you do need Priestcraeft to perform castings. In answer to the second, yeppers--one total from all of your heka-generating K/S areas to supply a grand total to draw upon. ^__^
A question about having a single Heka pool. If a persona has a single heka pool, what is the purpose of the "K/S Area Heka Regeneration" table on p. 14 of the Mythus Magick book that appears to show keka regeneration on a K/S by K/S basis?
If I understand the question properly, it is for HP's that are not "Casting-Slingers" per se, but utilize K/S areas that use and require heka. As an example, we had a Mercenary named Louis from Francia who possessed "Heka-Forging". He couldn't throw out Castings like a Priest or Dweomercraefter, but with his heka-producing K/S areas, he was able to imbue minor magicks along with his Smithing skills into weapons.
I see on the very same page, a few sections later, the text reiterates that there is a single heka pool, but the rate heka is recovered is, in part, determined by the number of K/S areas that generate the heka that make up that pool.
Hi, well I know this is an old post, but I think the answer is not quite right. Heka gained from astronomy may only be used for astrology (Though I must admit that I have never been in a group where this is enforced)
