Is Ghorkai the Blue Dragon alluded to in S4? Is The Ravage of Ghorkai a fleshing-out or a coincidence? Regards.

You'll have to refresh my memory. There was a dlue dragon that could be encountered as part of the wilderness adventure, but I don't remember any other blue dragon be alluded to. Scott

That's the one I meant.

I'd say no, since Ghorkai is a magically cross bred spell-using black/blue dragon 144 years old, and that dragon is a pure blue, 25 years old max. Making them related is a cool idea though. Perhaps that blue is Ghorkai's younger half sibling. Scott

Was Ghorkai's name an homage to Mordenkainen subduing two red dragons named Gorki and Porki?

I asked him, he said no, but you know how reliable that could be.

Yeah, I think at the time I was wondering if there was going to be an unrelated dragon named 'Porkai' as well. Have you ever used the hybrid blue black dragon or any of other of EGG's stuff from the Slayer's Guides? This is another line of products I missed because I wasn't buying anything d20 at the time.

I'm half turned off by the Gygax Slayer's guides because they're geared for D20 but Gygax is doing what he knows so its a saving grace.

I like a lot of the concepts from the Slayers Guide to Undeas. I like the adventure part of the dragon book, but I may be biased since I did work on it.

I really have to mark off what I think is good and what I think stinks because they're good resources if anyone digs.
