I just read JUPITER'S LEGACY and its prequel JUPITER'S CIRCLE. Both are excellent comic books and I recommend them with only a few minor caveats. This is a deconstruction of superheroes -- similar to WATCHMEN and DARK KNIGHT RETURNS -- and not everyone likes that. This is mainly about the psychology of the heroes and their personal lives and family interactions. A few things don't make sense, when I think about... But I don't want to pick it apart since for the most part it is very well done. While I was reading these, I found out JUPITER'S LEGACY is going to be a live-action TV show. I'm glad I read the books first. I don't love everything Millar has done, but what I do like about him is he is all about "What if?" ideas and usually big ideas and I don't think comic books do that these enough days. I don't want to say any more because the less you know going into it, the better. Just start reading -- LEGACY first, then CIRCLE, in that order.
