I just watched GERALD'S GAME on Netflix, another one directed by Mike Flanagan. I never read the Stephen King book, but the movie was very well done. King is at his best when things are kept limited and the story is about a simple, primal fear we all have... Like being trapped.

I watched it when it premiered and it was interesting but I think the struggle didnt seem legit. I think maybe a book bed is more fluid an idea than the prop that the woman is acting around. It seemed there was a way out the whole time with shifts and leverage that we didnt really see that a frantic person would do if trapped and able to do whatever without repurcussions.
