I watched this last night on pay-per-view. Of course, it being an M. Night Shyalaman movie nothing can be discussed but if you're a fan of his material then this is definitely worth watching.

Heather and I saw it in the theatre a few months ago, and thought it was the best film he's done since The Last Airbender, and before that since Signs or The Village.

Its hard to talk about without giving away the surprise like most of his movies but this one is really interesting.

Its hard to talk about without giving away the surprise like most of his movies but this one is really interesting. As with all of his films, if you know the Philly area, you can figure out some of the locations and such, which can sometimes give you some additional clues about what's going on (I figured out the main site location before the end reveal, which suitably impressed my wife ). I used to travel every year to Philadelphia in the mid-70's after my parents' divorce to attend the annual remembrance of Commodore Barry the true forgotten father of the American Navy. However, most of the time was spent in a graveyard, church and bar. I remember mentioning wanting to go to Independence Hall after my teacher asked and it was like,"Yeah, I guess..." So, I certainly never went on a broad historical view of "Philly" until years later and that was bumped by all the standard tourist traps. Ate the "Geno's" cheese steaks not the "Pat's" was that the right choice? Saw the Stallone statue and got a Burgess Meredith t-shirt. Otherwise, my trip wasn't very high falooting. It was very deluxe of course but no one was interested in the history which I found annoying.

I heard they have a name for the sequel but it might be a spoiler if you haven't seen it yet. I'm still wondering what this all means for his movies. I wonder if this is the first time this has ever happened in a film?
